Every Brawler has got 6 primary attributes, and a few skills.
- The attributes have a starting value based on Brawler race's base (attribute) value.
- All of the skills start from 0, are related to weapon and armour use, and haven't been implemented yet.
-
While creating a Brawler, you can specify one primary and one secondary attribute,
which will increase the base value respectively by 2 or 1 point, thus also increasing the starting value.
- The base value also determines how fast that attribute will increase through experience.
- The level of the Brawler will determine how fast the skills will increase, instead.
Here's a list of the attributes and what they do:
-
Strength: it determines the damage of the attacks, and if the knocked-out victim is injured,
in both instances paired with the Weapon's Power.
-
Toughness is the opposite of strength: lessens the damage of the attacks,
and decreases the chances that they are injuries;
acts together with the Armour's Protection.
-
Health: it allows a Brawler to attack first (together with Weapon's Handling),
slows the opponent's attacks (together with Armour's Fit),
and decreases the injury length (again, together with Armour's Fit).
-
Speed: it determines how much initiative will be consumed with one attack (together with Weapon's Handling),
and it's used both to do and to avoind rebounds (together with Weapon's Handling or Armour's Fit, respectively).
-
Agility: it's involved in the hit roll, together with the appropriate weapon skill.
-
Alertness: it defends during the hit roll, together with the appropriate armour skill.

During the Brawl, every Brawler will decide who to attack based on its
tactics:
- Cruelty: attacks the opponent with the lower specified attribute (or sum).
- Daring: same as cruelty, but picks the higher one instead.
- Marking: attacks the specified opponent; if it is already down, it will attack a random one every time.
- Random: attacks at random every time. Also, gets an initiative penalty. This is automatically selected if you didn't set the tactics.
